SOCCER MINNESOTA
Pathways to Top-Tier US Youth Soccer Competitions
Metro Alliance teams, operating under the umbrella of US Youth Soccer, gain access to significant merit-based pathways for advancement. This includes the opportunity to compete in the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series (Minnesota State Cup) and the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup (Minnesota Presidents Cup).
Furthermore, teams can earn promotion into the US Youth Soccer National League Midwest and Great Lakes Conferences through results-based options via the newly established Minnesota Qualifier Conference.
The reach of Metro Alliance extends beyond the immediate Twin Cities Metropolitan area. It encompasses the "metro areas" of Rochester, Mankato, and St. Cloud, all conveniently located within 80 miles of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Flexible, Affordable, and Competitive Soccer
Metro Alliance offers a flexible, affordable, and competitive soccer experience without demanding year-round, heavy commitment.
Our calendar avoids expensive indoor dome games and allows teams to participate in other leagues or take breaks for other activities. Spring-Summer scheduling provides a minimum of eight weeks of quality games with ample time for training.
Pathways to Elite Competition
As a US Youth Soccer affiliate, Metro Alliance teams gain access to merit-based pathways including the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series (Minnesota State Cup), the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup (Minnesota Presidents Cup), and the US Youth Soccer National League Structure via the new Minnesota Qualifier Conference (connecting to Midwest and Great Lakes Conferences).
Reduced Travel & Affordability
We mitigate travel burden by bracketing teams regionally. Membership is only $250 per team plus player registration, making Metro Alliance significantly more affordable than other leagues while still providing access to desired upper-level pathways.
